Christian Dior does not need to be introduced neither translated. Perfume islands is the nickname of Comoros islands thanks to ylang ylang fragrance from ylang ylang flower smelt by the first visitors in the archipelago.
J’adore the famous perfume released in 2007 used the comorian flower known as one of the most powerfull fragrance in the world. Comorian Ylang-ylang, clove and vanilla beans represent 50% of the comorian GDP.
Instead of the importance of ylang ylang, clove and vanilla industries in the comorian economy, raw material is exported and unrefined. I think it would be great to transform raw material in local industry in order to more commercialize sophisticated goods.
